PETA Tries to Put Me Off Chicken, But Fails

In what has to be one of the most unfortunate and misguided ad campaigns of all time, PETA is equating the awareness of our parents having sex with the consumption of chicken. Nice try, but I am an omnivore, damn it, and it never bothered me to know that my parents had bodies and used them. In fact, I'm quite glad they did.

Here is the text:
Your parents do it. They are probably doing it right now. But you don't want to know that. Just like you don't want to know what happens to chicks and chickens on factory farms. You don't want to know that behavioral scientists have discovered that the cognitive abilities of a chicken rival that of cats, dogs, and even young humans. But, whatever, as long as it tastes good, right?
Silly, silly people. . . .

Hat tip to Retrospectacle.
